With November just around the corner, it means more shows coming on Netflix Australia soon! There are many new movies and TV series to be enjoyed from the Australia library and it can be tough to keep up with all the new additions to each streaming service each month as the number of shows and movies available to stream in Australia continues to grow at an impressive rate!

Operation Christmas Drop (2020)

Starring in a Christmas Netflix Original for the third year in a row, The Vampire Diaries actress Kat Graham, stars alongside Vikings star Alexander Ludwig.

This holiday movie is inspired by the U.S. Airforce’s real-life program based in Guam where trainees airdrop supplies and gifts to neighboring islands. The flick, of course, has a cutesy love story in it, between a congressional aide (Kat Graham) who visits the military base with plans to defund it and the pilot who runs the program.  

Undercover (Season 2)

Netflix Release Date: November 8th

The new season will debut on Netflix in November. Undercover – the Belgian crime drama series – follows agents infiltrating and exposing large drug operations.

Dash & Lily (Season 1)

Netflix Release Date: November 10th

Based on Rachel Cohn and David Levithan’s popular YA novel Dash and Lily’s Book of Dares, this series follows two teens in NYC who are strangers to each other but decide to pass a notebook they write secrets in back and forth and call on the other to complete a series of dares in the city around Christmas time. 

The Liberator (Season 1)

Already driving opinion is the impending release of the fascinating looking series The Liberator. A cross between live-action and animation, the tale of heroism on the frontlines of the European front in WW2 is sure to turn some heads.

The men of the 157th regiment face some of the bloodiest battles of WW2 as they liberate Europe from the isle of Sicily to the heart of Germany.

Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey (2020)

A fantastic imaginary world is brought to life by the machinations of an eccentric toymaker and his adventurous grand-daughter. This holiday movie is about an iconic toymaker (Forest Whitaker) who, with the help of his whip-smart granddaughter and their magical inventions, must track down his apprentice (Keegan-Michael Key) after he steals one of his toys. In the tradition of beloved holiday movies, this one is a musical and has a whole slate of new, original songs from the likes of John Legend, Usher, and others.

The Crown (Season 4)

Season four brings us to the end of the 1970s and will see us finding out Prince Charles’s future bride and have us introduced to the brand new British Prime Minister. Olivia Colman is sticking around for one more season of Peter Morgan’s historical drama, but as history continues to progress in the show, now moving into the ’80s, a few new, exciting faces are joining Season 4. Make way for Maggie Thatcher and Princess Diana, played by Gillian Anderson and newcomer Emma Corrin, respectively.

Dolly Parton’s Christmas on the Square (2020)

A small middle-America town must fight to save their home when the town scrooge attempts to sell the land to a major corporation until she (of course) has a change of heart. It wouldn’t be a Dolly movie without new Dolly tunes, so expect a killer soundtrack along with this one.

Hillbilly Elegy

Netflix Release Date: November 24th

The movie, which features the talents of Glenn Close, Amy Adams, Haley Bennett, and Gabriel Basso takes a look at a modern exploration of the American Dream. An adaptation of the memoir by J. D. Vance directed by Ron Howard.

The Christmas Chronicles: Part Two (2020)

Two years ago, a pair of meddling kids and Kurt Russell (as daddy Santa) saved Christmas in one of Netflix’s biggest holiday originals to date, The Christmas Chronicles. Well, they’ve got to save the holiday again this time from a “mysterious, magical troublemaker named Belsnickel.” Kate Pierce, who is now a cynical teenager is unexpectedly reunited with Santa Claus when a mysterious troublemaker threatens to cancel Christmas forever.

Sugar Rush Christmas (Season 2)
