Choosing Your Paint by Numbers Kit

Each kit includes everything you need to complete the artwork:

  • Pre-numbered canvas
  • Matched acrylic paint set
  • Paint brushes
  • Reference image
  • Simple painting instructions

The exact inclusions are also listed on each product page.

A rolled canvas arrives carefully rolled for delivery. It is the more affordable option and can be framed or stretched after you finish painting.

A stretched canvas is already mounted tightly over a wooden frame, so you can begin painting immediately without preparing the canvas first.

Most of our standard designs create a completed painting measuring approximately 40 ร— 50 cm.

Please check the individual product page before ordering, as some designs or customised kits may have different dimensions.

Yes. No previous painting experience is required.

Every section of the canvas is numbered to match a paint colour, making it easy to work through the artwork one section at a time. Some designs contain more small details than others, so beginners may prefer designs with larger painting areas.

Look for artwork with:

  • Larger numbered areas
  • Fewer very small details
  • Clear blocks of colour
  • Less intricate facial or architectural detail

Our beginner-friendly collection is a good place to start.

Completion time depends on the design, level of detail and how often you paint.

Many customers complete a kit over several relaxing sessions, while more detailed designs can become a longer creative project. There is no need to rush – paint at your own pace.

The supplied paints are matched to the artwork, but completed colours may appear slightly different depending on:

  • Screen brightness and display settings
  • The number of paint coats applied
  • Lighting conditions
  • Natural variation in the finished hand-painted artwork

Your finished painting will have its own unique character.

Yes. You can select any three eligible designs from the bundle collection.

Yes. Duplicate designs are allowed, making the bundle suitable for gifts, group activities or painting alongside a friend.

Each bundle uses one canvas format for all three selected designs.

To purchase a mixture of rolled and stretched kits, place them in your cart separately or create more than one bundle.

The Paint Perfection Pack is included with the three-kit stretched bundle. The full list of pack contents is displayed on the bundle page before you order.

Yes. Optional backup paint sets can be added for selected designs while building your bundle for only $5 extra if you buy the bundle.

If you purchase kits outside the bundle, extra paint is $15 extra.ย 

They are useful for additional coats, touch-ups or accidental spills.

Because each bundle is assembled using the designs selected at checkout, contact us as soon as possible if you have made a mistake.

Once an order has entered processing or has been dispatched, we may not be able to change the selected designs.

Painting Your Kit

There is no single correct method, but many customers find it easiest to:

  1. Start with larger areas
  2. Work from the top of the canvas downward
  3. Paint lighter colours before darker colours
  4. Complete one colour at a time
  5. Allow each area to dry before painting beside it

Keep paint lids closed when they are not being used.

Most paints can be used directly from the pot.

Where a paint feels slightly thick, add only a very small drop of clean water and mix thoroughly. Avoid adding too much water, as this may reduce coverage.

Allow the first layer to dry, then apply another thin coat of paint.

Lighter colours may require two or more coats for full coverage. Avoid applying one very thick coat, as several thin coats usually produce a smoother result.

First, add one or two drops of warm water and mix gently with a clean toothpick or small brush handle.

Do not add a large amount at once. Continue adding a tiny amount only where necessary until the paint reaches a smooth consistency.

Rinse brushes in clean water immediately after use and gently reshape the bristles.

Do not leave brushes standing in water for long periods, as this can bend the bristles and loosen the handle.

  • Open one paint pot at a time
  • Close each lid firmly after use
  • Keep paint away from direct sunlight and heat
  • Wipe dried paint away from the rim before closing the lid
  • Avoid leaving pots open while working on another colour

Yes.

Rolled canvases can be professionally stretched, placed in a conventional frame or displayed using a suitable canvas-hanging system.

Stretched canvases are already mounted over a wooden frame and can be displayed once the painting is completely dry. Decorative outer framing is optional.

Custom Paint by Numbers Kits

Yes. Our customised paint kits allow you to transform a favourite photo into your own painting project.

Upload your image through the Custom Paint Kits page and follow the instructions shown there.

For the clearest result, choose a photo that is:

  • Sharp and well lit
  • High resolution
  • Not heavily filtered
  • Focused on the main subject
  • Free from very dark shadows
  • Not overly crowded with small background details

Portraits generally work best when faces are clear and reasonably close to the camera.

Editing options depend on the image and the custom product selected. Include your request when ordering or contact us before purchase to confirm what may be possible.

The photograph is converted into numbered shapes and a limited paint palette, so some fine photographic details will be simplified.

This is what allows the image to be painted by hand while still resembling the original subject.

Orders and Delivery

Orders are packed and dispatched from Melbourne, Australia.

Tracking details are sent to the email address used at checkout once the order has been dispatched. We use Australia Post to deliver our parcels across Australia.

Please check your junk or spam folder if you cannot find the dispatch email.

Available delivery methods and charges are displayed at checkout.

Eligible orders receive free Australian delivery when they meet the current free-shipping threshold. Selected bundle offers may also include delivery as part of the advertised price.

Processing and delivery times vary depending on the product, destination and shipping method selected.

Standard stocked kits are generally dispatched more quickly than customised products. The most current estimate should be displayed on the relevant product page or at checkout and often range between 2-5 business days from dispatch.

Contact us immediately after ordering.

We will try to update the address before dispatch, but we cannot guarantee changes once an order has entered processing or has been handed to the delivery carrier.

First check:

  • Around the property and any safe-drop location
  • With other household members
  • With neighbours or building reception
  • For a delivery card or carrier message

If the parcel still cannot be located, contact the delivery carrier using the tracking number and then contact our team for further assistance.

Take clear photographs of:

  • The parcel packaging
  • The damaged item
  • The shipping label
  • Everything received inside the parcel

Contact us with your order number and photographs so our team can assess the issue.

Payments, Returns and Support

Available payment methods are displayed securely during checkout and may include major cards and supported express or instalment-payment services.

Yes. Payment information is encrypted and securely processed by our payment providers. We do not directly store your complete card details.

Returns are handled according to our Returns Policy.

Items generally need to meet the eligibility conditions stated in that policy. Customised products and items created or prepared specifically for an order may have different return conditions.

Where an order has not yet entered processing, we may be able to cancel or amend it. Once packing, custom production or dispatch has begun, cancellation may no longer be possible.
